Individual Counseling: Individual counseling, psychological tests, and nonscheduled care via telephones, E-Mails, and letters

Life Adjustment: Readjustment of course locations for students with disabilities, parking permit application, and adjustment and consultation of Barrier-Free Space

III. Student Appeals

1.    The primary goal

The primary goal is to safeguard the rights and interests of students’ living and studying at the university. Therefore, NKFUST sets Student Appeals system, enacting Student Appeals regulations.

2.    Appellant Eligibility

Any individual student or any student organization that disagrees with a school administrative, academic or disciplinary decision on the ground that it violates the rights and interests of students should seek an administrative resolution to the issue. Any student or student organization that disagrees with the administrative resolution is then entitled to lodge an appeal with the Student Appeals Committee through the Division.

3.    The rights and obligations of the appellant.

(1)  The duration of the appeal: If the appellant dissatisfies a punishment or measures or resolutions issued by any unit of the First Tech, he or she could apply for an appeal through a written statement within 30 days starting from the next day after receiving the said punishment and the measure/resolution announcement.

(2)  The appellant should fill the Student Application Form, attaching specific facts and related documents and evidences.

4.    Appeals Procedures

(1)  Student Appeals Committee shall complete the resolution of the arbitration within 30 days starting the next day after receiving the appealing letter.

The appellant shall know only one time of extension is allowed but never exceeding two months. However, Appeals for being dropped out of or expelled from school or similar punishment are not allowed to have extension.

(2)  If the appellant dissatisfies a punishment or measures or resolutions issued by any unit of the First Tech, he or she could send the petition to the Ministry of Education after reviewing the argument together with the resolution of the arbitration and the appealing letter within 30 days starting the next day after the resolution of the arbitration was completed
